Amped Bikes Geared Conversion Kit
The Amped Geared Conversion Kit includes
a powerful and lightweight geared hub motor.
It's internal planetary gears are very efficient and
require less wattage (350W) to create similar
output to a 500W direct-drive motor. Because
it's lighter weight and creates no rolling resistance,
this kit is ideal for people who enjoy pedaling.

Order this kit with a pre-wired SLA battery or choose
a lightweight and long-lasting LiFePo4 battery pack. We offer several battery

This Amped Bike Kit Includes:
- 1 x 350W Geared Hub Motor (550w/720w output)
- 1 x Double Walled Rim w/ 13 Guage Spokes
- 1 x 36V 22 Amp Intelligent Motor Controller (capable of 36V or 48V*)
- 1 x Thumb Throttle with Battery Indicator Lights
- 1 x Handlebar Mounted On / Off Switch
- 2 x Brake Handles w/ Power Cutoff Switch
- 1 x Battery Wire Harness (for connecting 36V or 48V battery*)
- 1 x Motor Quick-Disconnect (for front wheel kits only)
- 1 x 6-Speed Freewheel (for rear wheel kits only)

You May Also Need: Rear Rack, Canvas Battery Bag
Front and rears are disc brake compatible. Rear wheels include a 6-speed freewheel.
If your bike has a 7-speed freewheel, the derailer can be adjusted to use the
6-speed cluster, but you'll loose several gears (ie: 21-speed will become 18-speed).
* This kit is designed for use with a 36V battery,
but it's capable of running
at 48V (warranty does not cover 48V). Although this will provide higher top
speeds (between 22-25 mph), it will exceed Federal Laws and your bike may become
classified as a 'motor vehicle'. At 36V this kit falls within the limitations
established by the U.S.
Federal Electric Bike Law, and in most states, no license or insurance
is required. For front hub kits, be sure you have a fork made out of
steel. This motor has the potential to tear away from an aluminum
fork.
