Crystalyte Phoenix Brute Bike Kit
The Crystalyte Phoenix Brute (or 5305)
is an
extremely powerful direct-drive motor designed
for torque (not speed). Available in a front or rear
mounted 20", 24", 26" or 700c wheel, this kit
includes everything you need except for batteries.
Choose our pre-built SLA battery pack, purchase
a wiring kit to build your own and save, or use
the 36V or 48V battery pack of your choice.
Order this kit with a pre-wired SLA battery pack (and charger) or choose a wiring kit
to use your own SLA batteries. You'll get: jumpers, fuse holder, 40A fuse, key switch, charger port, 50A Anderson and terminal connectors. Just add 12V SLA batteries!
Crystalyte Phoenix Kit Includes:

Use the Crystalyte Brute (5305) when you have extremely large hills, steep inclines, carry heavy loads, pull a trailer, or need the highest possible torque. The 26" Brute has been tested at speeds up to 25 mph (in 11 sec) at 48V, or 19 mph at 36V.
* This kit exceeds limits established by Federal Electric Bike Laws. Classified
as a 'motor vehicle' in most states, this kit is only legal for offroad use unless special safety requirements are fulfilled. License and insurance may also be required. Install and ride the Crystalyte Phoenix at your own risk. For front hub kits, your bike needs to have a very strong fork made of steel. This motor is so powerful it has the potential to rip from the dropouts of an aluminum fork.
