The X-Treme XB-600 is an electric bicycle - not a moped. It comes with four 12 volt (20a) batteries and a 600 watt rear hub motor. The SLA batteries can be re-charged more than 500 times and have a range of 20 - 25 miles per charge. The XB-600 includes removable pedals and is classified as a power assisted bicycle. Because it's limted to a top speed of 20 mph, there is no need for a drivers license, registration or insurance. You can ride this bike anywhere bicycles are allowed to operate.
