 E-BikeKit™ products are warranted to the original retail purchaser, when purchased directly from an authorized E-BikeKit™ dealer or from the E-BikeKit™ online store, to be complete and free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of:
- Hub Motor: 2 years from the date of purchase
- 36v 10ah LiFePo4 Battery Pack: 1 Year from the date of purchase
- 12V/12AH SLA Batteries: 6 Months from the date of purchase
- 36V 25 Amp Intelligent Motor Controller: 90 days from the date of purchase
- LiFePo4 2 Amp Charger: 90 days from the date of purchase
- Twist Throttle, Thumb Throttle or E-Brake Handle: 90 days from the date of purchase
- Replacement/maintenance parts & accessories: 30 days from the date of purchase/receipt when purchased directly from E-BikeKit™.
All warranty claims must be made in writing and defective parts must be returned to E-BikeKit at the purchaser's expense after obtaining a return authorization number. Defective parts will be repaired or replaced at the sole option of E-BikeKit. Return shipping to the customer will be paid by E-BikeKit within the continental United States.
What is NOT covered by the Warranty:
"Spinning out" the axles inside of your dropouts - We are unable to be there when the kit is installed so it is up to you to understand the high torque involved at the dropouts and install them correctly. If your dropouts are not correctly suited to fit the axle then you should not install the kit on those forks. get new forks, file the forks to the axle fit "flush" or contact us to return the kit. We will not refund a kit that has been "spun out".
"Over Voltage" - Connecting a larger battery like a 72V to a 48v or 36v controller will fry the controller. Controllers are meant for the kits they come with. Burning a controller by connecting the wrong battery type is not covered under our warranty.
If for any reason you do not feel confident about installing our electric bike kit then you should have it installed by a professional as you may damage your kit and could potentially harm yourself.
E-BikeKit™ Limited Warranty does not cover or apply to the following: Normal wear and tear; any damage, failure and/or loss caused by accident, shipping, misuse, neglect, abuse and/or failure to follow instructions or warnings as stated on the product or in the applicable owner’s manual or other printed materials provided with the product; damage, failure and/or loss caused by the use of the product for stunt riding, ramp jumping, competition, off-road use, acrobatics, trick riding or other similar activities, or use in any other manner for which such products were not specifically designed.
This warranty does not apply to any products or components, mechanical and/or electrical, which have in any way been altered from their original configuration by any person. E-BikeKit™ will not be liable and/or responsible for any damage, failure or loss caused by any unauthorized service or use of unauthorized parts.
Warranty Claims
E-BikeKit™ will repair or replace, at our discretion, any product or part that is defective in material or workmanship without charge, if the product is presented at our authorized E-BikeKit™ service center at 1.866.882.EBIK (3245), or at the dealer where you purchased the E-BikeKit™ from, with dated proof of purchase within the warranty period. Standard Shipping & Handling fees will apply to all orders placed for warranty parts and/or products and will be charged to the customer/warranty claimant.
Warranties are limited to replacement of parts and/or products determined by E-BikeKit™, at its sole discretion, to be defective. In cases where multiple components are missing, you may be redirected to the retailer for assistance.
Kraft Global, E-BikeKit™ and any of its subsidiaries will not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages.
This limited warranty gives you legal rights, and you may have other rights from state to state. This warranty applies to normal consumer use of the product. Use in rental fleet, commercial setting or government fleet will void this warranty. Inappropriate use such as trick riding, abusive riding or off-trail riding, will void this warranty.
* All returns for repair or replacement should be preceded by calling 1.866.882.EBIK (3245) to obtain a RMA (return merchandise agreement) number.
