    Hey Guys, i have the ezip 500 for a few months now and after a while i think it's more fun to go faster,
    So my question is..:

    What do i exactly need to buy and replace?
    I just want it to make it fast!
    Maybe about 20+ mph? :)
    Thanks guys.

    Unfortunately, it's not easy to make your scooter go faster. In concept, increasing the voltage from 24V to 36V will make the scooter quicker, but the controller can't handle a larger 36V battery. You may be able to upgrade to the EZIP E-1000 controller (which is designed for 36V), but it costs around $60. Plus you need an additional 12V battery, you need to wire it into your pack, and you need figure out where to mount it. Obviously, an extra 12V battery will not fit into the existing battery compartment. And I'm not 100% sure all the connectors on the E-1000 controller will fit the E-500 components. It will work, but it will probably take some modification.

    After all is said and done, it's probably cheaper (and much easier!) to sell your E-500 and buy the EZIP E-1000...

    Jeremy,
    Thanks for the fast reply :)..

    Well i think i have space to place a extra battery !..

    So i have to buy;
    - 12v battery
    - 36v controller (e 1000)

    - and a more powerfull motor????

    but why does the ezip 1000 15mph and the 500 15mph too??

    As mentioned... I really wouldn't recommend updating the scooter. It's a big hassle and you could easily fry a controller (or other components) if you don't hook them up correctly. Obviously, this voids any warranty that you may have...

    The wattage of the motor (500w vs. 1000w) really won't affect the speed much. Higher wattage creates more torque (for hills or pulling more weight), but it's the higher voltage (24v vs. 36v) that will make a difference in speed.

    The manufacturer's specs may say 15mph for the E-500 and E-1000, but the E-1000 is definitely faster. If it was me, I would sell the 500 and buy a 1000...
