    I had 2 questions:

-is it posisible to replace a key switch instead a on/off switch?

    Emile,

Thanks for stopping by our forum!

Yes... you should be able to replace on/off switch with a keyswitch. The hard part will be finding a keyswitch that fits inside the square opening in the frame (most keyswitches are round). You could make an adapter of some sort, or move the switch entirely.

As far as setting up the scooter to go faster, I've heard about people upgrading these scooters to 36V. But I can't say for sure if the controller will get blown or not. If it does, you'll have to find a 36V contoller (maybe the one from the EZIP E-1000). You also have to consider that there's nowhere to place an extra 12V battery to upgrade to 36V...

Where can I find the rear wheel installation instruction or parts assembly blow-up. I had a flat tire and took it apart to repair the tire and can't remember how the parts go back together. I just need to see it. Can you help me before I hurt myself any further on this thing.

    What a freakin irritating project.
    Any aid will be welcome.
    Thanks
    R.U.

This is the best thing I could find:

The rear wheels aren't exactly the easiest things to remove. You really have to pay attention when you pull it apart, because otherwise it can be even harder to put back together...

Thanks Jeremy, that blow up did the trick. I finally got the thing back together, aligned the sprockets and adjusted the brake and rebuilt the seat so it is more disabled friendly. That narrow seat was killing my back. I like the e-zip 500 now that I can ride it.

    Hi,
Is there a way to charge the battery separate from the scooter? I'd like to lock up the scooter at work in the bike-cage, but will need to charge the battery in my office.
    Thanks - Maureen

This is the part you need to charge your battery seperately from the scooter:
